So here I would like to write a little about foot reading and what it is. I became interested in the foot reading because of my fascination with reflexology. I have come across so many different feet during the years I’ve worked doing reflexology, and often have noticed similar marks and such on peoples’ feet and listened to their stories as I have worked on their feet, and realised that quite often there are similarities in what people have experienced and the appearance of their feet! I know this sounds a bit crazy, but it is true!
For example, I have had a fair few clients who during their reflexology treatments have mentioned having trouble with their big toes. This could be to do with something like having sustained an injury that resulted in some trauma to the toe, and it has had a long-lasting effect on the toe. To my amazement, when finding out more about what was going on around the time of the injury to the toe, it has transpired that it was a time of huge stress in the personal life of the clients involved. This has happened too many times for this to be a coincidence, and so I got interested in what the feet are saying and what they are able to help us understand about what could be going on for us on a mental/emotional, as well as physical level.
On our feet there is a map of the body – organs and structures – that is in itself quite a strange concept if you are not sure what reflexology is all about. So on the right foot, there is a reflex point for all the organs and structures that are present on the right hand side of the body. The same goes for the left hand side. So for example, on the right hand side of the body we can find the liver and gallbladder. The reflex points for these two organs can be found on the right foot. Tenderness in these areas can indicate that there is some kind of energy block or depletion of energy in that area of the body and that it needs to be rebalanced. There is the physical explanation, but there is also a mental/emotional element that can be considered as well. In foot reading, the zone on the foot that holds the liver and the gallbladder, is an area that relates to the upper digestive area on the foot. This same zone also relates to the work and career/action aspect of life. Therefore, when something is showing up in this area of the foot, then it is reasonable to assume that perhaps there are some issues going on in that area of life either currently or in the past. Again, it sounds like a far-fetched kind of thing to say, but I can honestly say that it has been pretty impressive in its accuracy so far as I have found during my sessions of reflexology and interpreting what the feet could be saying to us.
It is something that I find really interesting and so I have been studying foot reading in depth to learn more and more about it, and develop my pereception of what the feet are suggesting could be going on for those I am hoping to help. I have to say, when I do mention to my clients what I think might be occurring for them, the surprise is genuine as to the level of accuracy – it feels almost magical how the feet can hold these memories and experiences in place.
If you are interested in this and would like to find out more, I do now offer to create foot reading reports. I would be happy to meet you for a session to look at your feet and create a report for you based on what I find at our meeting. This report would then be emailed to you along with photographs, to explain the findings and what they could mean. When we meet, I would take some photographs of your feet while you are with me, and then use them to prepare your report. I can also offer this service remotely – in that you don’t have to have a physical appointment with me, but you would instead send me photographs of your own feet and I will look at them and create a report for you. If I feel the photographs need to be better quality/angle, I would let you know and you could provide them again.
You can book a foot reading report by emailing me on reflexivesole@gmail.com or you can buy the report online via Fresha. When you do that, I will contact you to see which way you want to do it – either in person, or remotely.
I would be happy to hear from you and if you have any questions, then please feel free to contact me on the above email address.
