Take a break

Having a break, now and again, but regularly if possible, is a way of getting out of your usual routine, and can be a perfect time to reflect on all that is going on in your life. I believe that undertaking a holistic therapy can be really helpful in this reflection as it gives you time to just switch off for an hour or so, and to breathe and to calm yourself. Therapies such as reflexology can help stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing your body to slow down, get ready for rest and allows time for healing to happen. The reflexology session encourages release of toxins from the body, and also frees the mind, and powers up our whole being, helping wonderful therapeutic healing to occur.


Reflexology is ancient - has been going on for thousands of years - and is nourishing to say the least. It can release blockages in the body, mind and spirit. You sometimes can feel these releases as they happen, perhaps by the overwhelming urge to exhale deeply, or to shed tears, or to go into a state of deep relaxation whilst being aware of what is going on around you.
