Those Quiet Mornings...

Do you ever wake up feeling sad, but you’re not really sure why?
There’s no clear reason — just a gentle heaviness, a kind of ache in your chest. Maybe you find yourself feeling lost, a little despondent, or thinking of people you’ve loved and miss deeply.
Sometimes these feelings come like a soft mist — familiar, tender, hard to name.
I’ve come to realise that our bodies often hold on to emotions our minds can’t quite process. Old memories, grief, and even simple exhaustion can sit quietly beneath the surface until something — or nothing at all — brings them up.
On days like this, I find that gentle, nurturing therapies such as reflexology and reiki can bring real comfort. They don’t push the feelings away; instead, they create space for calm, allowing the heart and body to soften. Through touch, stillness, and energy flow, they can help ease the weight we carry inside — helping us to reconnect with a quiet sense of peace and grounding.
Sometimes we don’t need to understand the sadness.
We just need to allow it, and give ourselves a moment to be cared for.
If you’ve been waking up feeling this way lately, be gentle with yourself. You’re not alone — and even a small act of kindness toward your body can make a world of difference. It would be lovely to see you here at ReflexiveSole

for some soothing holistic therapies to help bring you back to the place you want to be.
